The National Congress of Black Women, Inc. (NCBW) is a (501) (c) (3) organization founded more than 30 years ago and headquartered in the nation’s capital. Under the leadership of Dr. E. Faye Williams, Esquire, NCBW continues to fulfill the vision of its founders by serving as a nonpartisan voice and instrument on issues pertaining to the appointment of women at all levels of government and to increase minority women’s participation in the educational, political, economic, and social arenas. The NCBW legacy is continued through our College for Kids Program, College for Teens Program, Leadership Training, Commission for the Presidential Appointment of Minority Women and Young Ambassadors Program, to name a few. NCBW also works with other women’s groups to advance policies and practices that impact all women.
